RoHS Compliance Statement
Leveler, LLC is committed to support this initiative in all of its product offerings, whether they
are intended for the EU, North America, Asia, or elsewhere. To the best of our knowledge,
each and every Leveler power conditioner ever sold since 2001 was free of the harmful
substances listed with the exception of lead-based solder. However, with the August 18,
2005 publication of the EU Commission Decision (2005/618/EC) which amends Directive
2002/95/EC (RoHS), certain allowable limits for the banned substances have been set due to
the fact that certain heavy metal concentrations are currently unavoidable. Specifically, a
maximum concentration of 0.1% by weight of lead is now allowed. All Leveler power
conditioners have had a lower than 0.1% concentration of lead which again, is only used in
solder joints. Therefore we believe our products meet the limits and intent of the RoHS
amended directive.
We would like to add that we also support the RoHS directive in another way. The level of
electrical protection we provide to electronics is such that it prevents premature failure and
therefore early disposal of such devices into a landfill. Since many devices are in use that
may contain these RoHS-banned substances, the addition of a Leveler conditioner will
greatly decrease the chances of these products being added to the refuse pile.
