Leveler Technology Simultaneously Reduces the Harmful Effects of Both Voltage and Current Harmonic Distortion Directed Towards the Load and the Power Source.

Leveler’s patented design represents a high-impedance to the higher order frequencies and effectively does not allow them to pass. Thus it reduces the harmonic content and also improves the power factor. By inhibiting the higher order harmonic frequencies, Leveler technology reduces data errors and the potential of over-current damage to the electronics.

Harmonic distortion is measured by accounting for all of the odd-order multiples – the 3 rd, 5 th, 7 th, 9 th, etc. of the fundamental frequency – that are present in the Current waveform.

Leveler's reduction in total harmonic distortion focuses on the current wave form, rather than the voltage wave form because the harmonic current distortion creates more problems in a facility.

It is also important to note that a Leveler solution does not cause a loss in the electrical system. Other types of filters employed to reduce harmonics typically come at a surprising cost; noise and harmonics go down, power factor improves, but the electric bill goes up. Leveler technology does not introduce added resistance into the system, eliminating the fear of increased electric usage costs.

Leveler products reduce Current THD by an average of 30%.
